fungus

there are diversity among the fungus kingdom. they include the sac and club sections. during the funguses life time, they go thru cycles of asexuality and sexuality. in asexuality the fungus uses a haploid whereas a diploid is used in the sexual cycle. also, reproduction is divided into spores and budding. structure of a fungus is composed of hyphae (stringy tubes) that make up the entire mushroom. the hyphae are loosely packed in the roots underground and are more tightly packed above ground.
